In September 2018, the UPAA Edmonton, through its Philippine Arts and Culture Orientation Program (PACO), launched its Bahay Kubo Project – a monthly diorama building activity for kids 6-14 years old that introduced them to the rich culture of indigenous peoples in the Philippines – they learned about rice farming, Pinoy traditions, coastal groups and their lifestyle, terracing, and more.

Wrapping up the program, the kids joined the organization last weekend to showcase their creations in the Arts and Crafts booth at the recently held Edmonton Filipino Fiesta.

Great job, kids! Thanks to all the PACO parents for their support.
